A paid placement has its own brand, creative and destination. OpenAI decides when and where an eligible ad appears.

What the buyer sees

A clearly labeled advertisement alongside the ChatGPT experience. The click leads to your site: a product page, a useful guide, an assessment or a demo request. The offer and landing page should answer the need behind the conversation.

Paid ads remain separate from ChatGPT's answers. Buying an ad does not buy a recommendation in the answer. We receive advertising reports; private conversations and a list of individual ad viewers are not available to us.

A useful starting brief

“We help small B2B teams enter a new market” gives the agent a job to work with: a buyer need, an offer, evidence and a next step. Relevance hints help describe that job; they do not guarantee an appearance against a particular question.

Formats, with a job for each

These are illustrative creative treatments. Final presentation, account eligibility and review are controlled by OpenAI.

For eligible catalog businesses, product data supplies the items an ad can use. This is a different campaign setup from a service ad and needs a maintained feed.

Three sequences we can plan around your offer

These are campaign designs, not reported client results. Timing is illustrative. A sequence advances on a real event or a planned campaign step; an ad impression does not reveal a person's identity.

New-market entryLinkedIn outreach + ChatGPT Ads + a shared landing page

Situation: a B2B team has a focused offer for a new market and needs both proactive conversations and inbound demand.

  1. Define the offer and account segmentThe agent reviews the brief and approved evidence, then drafts a market-specific angle and landing-page outline.
  2. Publish proof and begin LinkedIn outreachA useful post supports the outreach. Example message: “We put the first-market steps into one guide. Is that work on your desk this quarter?” The sending profile and audience must be approved.
  3. Run contextual ChatGPT advertising in parallelThe ad carries the same offer. Relevant situations might include planning outbound sales or comparing ways to enter a market. It can reach eligible buyers beyond the LinkedIn list.
  4. Route an identified enquiry to salesA submitted form or a LinkedIn reply becomes the handoff. The agent checks the record, prepares the next response and avoids duplicate outreach.
What the agent learns

Compare the questions in replies with landing-page enquiries and campaign reports. Propose a clearer next angle. Clicks alone do not establish which message generated pipeline.

From useful guide to qualified callChatGPT Ads + landing page + permission-based email

Situation: buyers need to understand a problem before they are ready for a product demo.

  1. Offer an answer worth openingExample ad: “Plan your first outbound campaign.” The landing page contains the promised guide and a clear choice to request follow-up.
  2. Deliver what the person requestedOn form submission, the connected email workflow sends the guide. Example: “Here is the market-entry worksheet you requested. Which market are you working on?”
  3. Follow up with one useful next stepIf the person opted in and has not replied, a planned follow-up can offer an example relevant to their stated role. The agent checks consent and previous messages before preparing the next touch.
  4. Hand the conversation to the right personA positive reply becomes a sales conversation. A booking, decline or unsubscribe stops the corresponding follow-up sequence.
What must be connected

The form, email sender and CRM events. Attribution and conversion instrumentation are configured for the campaign; they are not automatically supplied by an advertising API key.

One launch, several ways to discover itLinkedIn Ads + founder content + ChatGPT Ads + sales follow-up

Situation: a product launch has a defined audience, a credible demonstration and a booking or enquiry destination.

  1. Build a shared campaign briefThe agent maps each buyer concern to proof: a product walkthrough, a practical document or an answer from the founder.
  2. Give each channel its own creativeA LinkedIn feed ad can introduce the demonstration to the selected audience. A founder post explains the problem. The ChatGPT ad offers the walkthrough when relevant.
  3. Keep the destination and promise consistentEach link carries its own campaign tags. The landing page shows the same offer, while enquiries retain the source recorded by the connected systems.
  4. Continue in the channel the person choseRespond to a LinkedIn reply in LinkedIn, an email enquiry by email, or an opted-in Telegram conversation in that chat. The salesperson receives the question and relevant campaign context.
What the agent coordinates

Creative versions, channel-specific copy, known contact state and next actions. We do not assume that a LinkedIn contact and an anonymous ChatGPT viewer are the same person.

What makes this AI-agent managed?

The agent works on a continuing campaign task with a brief, tools, saved state and a decision history. Each recommendation has an input, an action and something to check afterward.

Configured for the engagement

Landing pages, forms, conversion events, CRM joins and cross-channel workflows. Extra formats depend on account access. A recurring autonomous optimization loop is not part of the current Ads integration.

Re:Vault agents manage the advertiser's work. OpenAI operates ad selection and delivery. These are separate responsibilities.

Where channels can overlap

A shared offer and learning

Use the same buyer problem, proof and destination across channels. Questions from LinkedIn replies can improve an ad brief. A submitted enquiry can inform the next sales response. Campaign tags keep the sources distinguishable.

Audience lists, where eligible

OpenAI supports first-party custom audiences subject to account, rights, matching and size requirements. Inclusion currently needs at least 25,000 matched users. Personalized audiences are unavailable for EEA and Switzerland campaigns. A typical small B2B prospect list is not enough.

Broker-sourced lists are not accepted for OpenAI audience uploads. We do not upload a purchased sourcing list or identify people from private chats. For a small B2B campaign, start with contextual relevance and a clear conversion path.

Measure the step you are paying for

Delivery

Impressions, clicks and spend in the connected ad account.

Enquiries

Recorded forms, requested content and identifiable replies.

Sales outcomes

Qualified conversations, meetings and deals in your connected CRM.

Our current Ads reporting covers delivery. Website events and CRM reporting require their own setup. A click is not a lead, and a platform-attributed conversion is not automatically a qualified meeting. Spend can appear later than clicks; we use the agreed campaign budget to constrain the test.

What we need to start

  1. Your offer and evidenceThe audience, the problem, substantiated claims, usable brand assets and a working destination.
  2. A campaign scopeCountries, objective, total media budget, schedule and the follow-up channels we will connect.
  3. Account and written authorizationOne ad account for your business, the required review and billing setup, and authority for Re:Vault to manage your advertising.
  4. A reviewed launchWe prepare the campaign on pause. A person checks the final settings and authorizes activation in Ads Manager.

You pay Re:Vault. We manage the media purchase.

Our engagement separates management from the agreed advertising budget. Re:Vault handles payment to OpenAI under the agency arrangement. Each advertiser keeps a separate campaign account and reporting scope. The proposal states the funding terms, limits and reconciliation; this page does not start a subscription or a campaign.

Bring one offer. We will map the campaign.

We will work through where ChatGPT Ads fits, what LinkedIn and email should do around it, and what we need to measure before calling the test successful.

Questions before a first campaign

Does an ad change ChatGPT's answer?

No. Paid placements are separate from the answer. We buy advertising delivery, not a recommendation inside the response.

Can you reach the exact people on our LinkedIn list?

We can coordinate the campaign offer and follow-up across channels. OpenAI audience matching has separate data, market and size requirements. We cannot promise that a particular LinkedIn contact sees a ChatGPT ad.

Will the agents launch and increase budgets on their own?

The current integration creates campaigns on pause. Activation is handled separately in Ads Manager. A person approves launch, budget increases and material strategy changes.

Do you already have ChatGPT Ads client results?

This page shows illustrative campaign designs, not performance case studies. We will agree the test, its measurement and the decisions it can support before launch.
